TAMPA, Fla. - USL League Two was well represented during the 2026 MLS SuperDraft last week with 69 players selected, accounting for 77% of the total draft picks. Each of the top three picks – Nikola Markovic, Ricky Louis, and Nicholas Simmonds – spent their 2025 summer in League Two as significant contributors for their clubs before having outstanding college seasons.

Twenty of the 30 players drafted in the First Round have League Two on their resumes, including Richie Aman, Niklas Herceg, and Zach Ramsey who each went to the League Two and College Cup Final in the last 12 months. Jaylen Yearwood, Daniel Lugo, and Simmonds each spent significant time in the USL Academy League en route to becoming First Round picks. Edouard Nys and Connor Lofy, who were taken in the Second and Third Rounds, featured on the 2025 USL League Two Team of the Year in their respective conferences.
